Self Soothing Strategies

Involve your 5 senses- perhaps 2 or more at once:
- Fire in the fireplace/ firepit
- Go outside! to enjoy the sun, your yard, the deck-
- Go to the the forest or beach
- Warm bubble bath
- Your favorite music, or use a sound machine
- Nature videos on youtube- such as the rain or the beach
- Light your favorite scented candles, incense or essential oils
- Put a drop of essential oil over a light bulb
- Weighted or heavy blanket, eye mask, your favorite soft sweater/robe/blanket
- Your favorite tea or snack
- The power of lavender- essential oil, candle, or in your tea
