As a member of this group, you will learn to: Understand stress & anxiety, its function & purpose in your life, & factors that contribute to anxiety (nutrition & our environment)
- Use mindfulness to improve your awareness & manage your stress
- Change your relationship with anxiety (tolerate it vs. avoid it)
- Set & maintain boundaries & utilize self-care during difficult times
- Cognitive behavioral strategies- thoughts & actions influence mood
- You will also have an opportunity to share with each other in a safe space and receive support from the therapist and from each other
